Glass CLI is an independent, community-developed tool that is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected with ServiceNow, Inc. It is provided “as is” without warranty. Use at your own risk. This powerful command-line interface appears as a floating glass sphere on ServiceNow pages; press Ctrl+Shift+G or click the sphere to expand it into a sleek CLI for fast platform navigation and development tasks.

COMMANDS

Navigation
- list, do, filter: Navigate to table lists, forms, and filtered views
- home, login, logout: Quick navigation shortcuts
- record: Open any record by sys_id

User Management
- impersonate: Impersonate any user by username
- me: View current user information
- mirror: Copy roles and groups from one user to another

Development Tools
- acl: Check ACL permissions for users on tables, records, and fields
- background: Execute background scripts
- code: Search and navigate to script records
- explode: Show technical field names on forms and lists
- postman: Export API definitions for Postman

Administration
- cache: Clear platform caches
- config: Open system configuration pages
- retrievesets: Retrieve update sets from remote instances
- stats: View platform statistics

Search
- keyword: Search records using keywords across tables
- random: Open a random record from any table
