  Every time you open a new tab in Chrome, ThesisFlow shows you: today's
  word count vs. your daily goal, your chapter progress bars, a streak
  counter, a Pomodoro timer, and a virtual writing-pet that grows as
  you write.
  
  Everything is stored locally on your device. No accounts, no servers,
  no analytics, no telemetry. Open DevTools, go to Application → Local
  Storage, and your data is right there.

  A critical bug fix for the writing log.
  
  • Word count was not being saved. Newly added words appeared in the
    "today" counter but vanished on the next page load (or when a new
    tab was opened). Now your entries persist correctly across page
    refreshes and new-tab opens.
  • The same bug also affected Notes. Saved notes silently disappeared
    on refresh. They are now persisted under the correct storage key.
  • Bonus: cross-tab sync. When one tab writes to the log, every other
    open ThesisFlow tab picks up the change and re-renders. No more
    stale counters in the background tab.
