Extension Genie:

Extension Genie is a productivity tool for retail pharmacists in Australia to increase speed and efficiency on a day-to-day basis. It facilitates and speeds the process of recording some services. e.g., NDSS and Project Stop. It also extends the functionalities of API wholesaler website. Pharmacists will be able to switch the extension options on and off and have complete control of which functionalities they choose to run/stop. 

We will regularly add more functionalities to help pharmacists who work under immense pressure and improve pharmacy performance. That is why we would appreciate your feedback, through the feedback button at the end of the settings page, if we missed anything or if you have more ideas, you want it implemented. 

Here is a complete list of all added functionalities:

API wholesaler

    • Add reminder to items.
    • Expensive items prompt to alert the pharmacist to double-check expensive items selected.
    • Sort items in the cart by price.
    • We have replaced the total order value of the cart at the top of the order page for a quick review before submitting the order.
    • Highlight expensive items above a specified amount. 
    • Make prices font and color more prominent. 

NDSS

    • Tick patient’s “Correct phone and email” boxes. 
    • Tick in the “Details are correct” box.
    • Set focus to “Next.” So on the page, all you need to do is click “Enter.”

GuildCareNG (Project Stop)

    • Tick “Purchaser has given informed consent” to open the rest of the form field.
