About
Kiseru is a keyboard-first Chrome extension built for fast, mouse-free web navigation. It highlights interactive elements on the page and provides intuitive key bindings for common browsing actions, making it ideal for developers, power users, and anyone who prefers efficient keyboard workflows. Kiseru automatically detects clickable elements such as links, buttons, inputs, selects, and other interactive controls, then visually outlines them so you can immediately see what can be interacted with—even on complex or dynamic websites. Designed to work reliably on modern single-page applications (SPAs) like GitHub, Kiseru reacts to page changes without requiring reloads. ⸻ How it works Kiseru introduces a navigation mode that is activated using a single toggle key. When navigation mode is active, Kiseru enables keyboard shortcuts for fast page interaction and navigation. • Hold ; → Navigation mode • Release ; → Normal browsing mode This allows quick, temporary access to navigation controls without leaving your normal typing flow. ⸻ Default key bindings • ; — Toggle navigation mode (hold to activate, release to exit) • ; + Ctrl — Open links in a new tab • ; + h — Go to the site’s main domain or home page • ; + x — Close current tab • ; + Shift + x — Reopen last closed tab • ; + < — Go back • ; + > — Go forward • ; + [ — Switch to previous tab • ; + ] — Switch to next tab ⸻ Key features • Visual highlighting of clickable elements • Keyboard-driven navigation and tab management • Works on dynamic websites and SPAs • Lightweight and fast • Privacy-friendly (no tracking, no data collection) Kiseru is designed to stay out of your way while giving you precise control over the browser—entirely from the keyboard.
