ExportChat is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you export conversations from major AI chat platforms into clean, portable files.

Instead of manually copying messages, ExportChat captures the visible conversation text and saves it instantly as Markdown, PDF, HTML, TXT, or JSON.

Privacy first:
ExportChat processes everything locally in your browser. No data leaves your device.

Notes and limitations:
• Images inside chats are currently not exported.
• PDF export may remove emojis or decorative Unicode characters due to PDF rendering limitations.
• Gemini conversations do not expose titles in the page structure, so filenames are generated from the first message.
• Perplexity source citations are currently excluded from exports.
