Pattern Breaker is a Chrome extension designed to help you regain control over your scrolling habits on social media and content-heavy websites.

Many modern platforms are built around infinite scrolling and endless feeds. Pattern Breaker detects this behavior and steps in at the right time with gentle reminders or firm breaks, helping you pause, reflect, and avoid losing track of time.

Daily stats: See how much time you spent on each site today (resets at local midnight)

Weekly stats: View your total time spent across supported sites over the last 7 days

⏳ “1 More Minute” option

Grants exactly 60 seconds of active viewing time

If you switch away, the timer pauses, so you always get your full minute

⚙️ Fully customizable per site

Set time limits (10m, 15m, 20m, 30m)

Choose break durations (5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 1h, or Rest of Day)

“Rest of Day” blocks the site until midnight in your local time

All tracking and settings are stored locally in your browser. Pattern Breaker does not use accounts, does not send data to servers, and does not sell or share your data.
