WriterHub Grammar Companion ( writerhub.org ) brings WriterHub's AI grammar-checking API to every textarea, input, and content editable surface, automatic capture, analysis, and inline suggestions wherever you write online. The service worker locally verifies that your text is English before securely sending it to WriterHub’s API endpoint. Pause or resume assistance at any time via the popup or options page, and choose whether auto-check should debounce while you type or only run on demand. Once a check is complete, a floating badge shows your score and opens a drawer with issue-by-issue guidance so you can apply fixes without leaving the page.
