About

Lame – Make Browsing Boring
Designed for those who want to fight social media and internet addiction, Lame intentionally makes websites less stimulating. Images, thumbnails, and background visuals are dimmed and blurred, text is softened and lowercased, and rounded corners are removed. Videos remain viewable, but everything else is made “boring” on purpose.

Important: This extension is not meant to enhance your browsing experience. Its goal is the opposite: to reduce dopamine hits, make content less engaging, and help you resist endless scrolling and distractions.

Features:

Dim and blur images, thumbnails, and SVGs for a lower-intensity view.
Convert text to lowercase with a minimal design.
Remove rounded corners to make websites feel sharper and less playful.
Works automatically on all websites, including Twitter/X and YouTube.
Helps you take control over compulsive scrolling and overstimulation.
