Sighisoara is an ancient rampart built in the 12th century and was once the residence of Vlad III the Implater (1431 - 1476), prince of Wallachia. Currently, the Sighisoara citadel is a historical museum of the city of Sighisoara. Every year, unique rock concerts and art exhibitions are held here and is one of the top tourist attractions in the southeastern European country.
