PageToChat – talk to any page with your own LLM account, with special support for Gmail and Twitter threads.

PageToChat is a context-menu powered helper that lets you send what you see in Chrome — full pages, selections, images, HTML, Gmail conversations, or Twitter threads — straight to your chosen LLM. You don’t buy separate credits from the extension; you keep using the provider and account you already have.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Right-click anywhere on a page.

2. Choose a PageToChat action (built-in "Ask AI" or your own “quick action” with a custom prompt).

3. A sidebar opens where you pick:
– Provider (e.g. your LLM service)
– Model
– Temporary or persistent chat
– Prompt
– Attachments to include (screenshot, page content, selection, image)

4. When you press Send PageToChat opens the provider’s tab, selects the model, fills the prompt, uploads the chosen attachments – and can even auto-submit.

KEY FEATURES
• No extra credits: the extension doesn’t sell tokens. You use your own LLM provider account.
• Works from any page: invoke from the right-click menu.
• Smart attachments:
– Page screenshot
– Page content (with or without HTML)
– Selected text (if you right-clicked on a selection)
– Image (if you right-clicked an image)
– Website specific content such as Twitter or Gmail message thread (more to be implemented in future) 
• Sidebar control: see and change everything before sending.
• Temporary vs. permanent chat: send a one-off query or continue an existing thread (when supported by the provider).
• Auto-submit: optional – it can send immediately after opening the provider’s tab.
• Custom “quick actions”: save frequently used setups (provider + model + prompt + attachment rules + context rules) and show them as extra right-click menu items. Then it’s literally: right-click → your action → sent.
• Context-aware: you can define which attachments to include depending on where you clicked (page, selection, image).

WHY IT’S DIFFERENT
Most “AI for the browser” extensions either require you to buy their credits or copy/paste manually. PageToChat acts more like a smart bridge: it drives the provider’s own web UI for you. That way you stay in control of your model, plan, and usage.

TYPICAL USES
• “Summarize this page” – send full content or screenshot.
• “Improve this selected text” – right-click selected text → custom action.
• “Explain this image” – right-click image → send as attachment.
• “Extract data from this HTML” – send page content with HTML.
• “Ask follow-up in the same chat” – use permanent chat mode.

• Reads the current page so it can capture the content or selection you want to send.
• Opens a new tab to your chosen LLM provider and fills the form for you.
• Creates context menu items (built-in and your saved quick actions).

PRIVACY
• PageToChat doesn’t sell credits and doesn’t need to proxy your requests.
• Content goes to the LLM provider you chose, in its own tab, under your own account.
• You control what gets attached each time.
