About

Omnistudio Lens helps you analyze Omnistudio usage, dependencies, and access from your current Salesforce session.

Omnistudio Lens helps Salesforce teams quickly audit Omnistudio components with less setup and fewer context switches, and identify access gaps before deployment.

Why install it:

Start analysis instantly from your active Salesforce session.
Support multiple active org sessions and switch easily.
Reduce risk by exposing dependency and permission gaps early.

What you can do in OmniStudio Lens after launch:

- Analyze Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, Data Mappers, Flexcards, Function Definitions.
- Support for legacy Vlocity packages allows you to analyse Vlocity Actions as well.
- View active/inactive totals and component usage summaries.
- Drill into full dependency hierarchy: element types, child items, classes, methods, objects, and fields.
- For OmniScripts, view active element counts and child Omniscript counts.
- Open child Omniscripts, switch context to analyze them, and navigate back to parent context.
- Check where a child OmniScript is used elsewhere across parent Omniscripts.
- Detect Custom LWCs and open Flexcard details directly for Flexcard-backed LWC patterns.
- Inspect Apex class/method usage and related object/field references.
- Inspect Data Mapper child items and derived object/field usage.
- Inspect Flexcard datasource types and drill into those dependencies.
- Filter, paginate, copy lists, and track visited/saved items.
- Build permission sets from selected items, compare with existing permission sets, check unsupported fields, and upsert (merge or replace) into an existing permission set.
- Bulk support for running analysis on multiple components.
