Electric Chat makes Twitch chat more readable by providing focus, filters, and highlights for users, @mentions, keywords, and an unlimited message buffer.

New controls:

Focus
Ctrl-click a username to only show messages from that user
Ctrl-click a word in a message to only show messages containing that word
Ctrl-click an @mention in a message to only show messages from the user mentioning and the user mentioned
Alt+C or click "STREAM CHAT" at top of chat to restore all messages (clear focus)

Highlight
Alt-click a username to highlight messages from that user
Alt-click a word in a message to highlight that word in all messages
Alt-click an @mention in a message to highlight messages from the user mentioning and the user mentioned
Alt+H to clear highlights. Pro Version: highlighted users and keywords are temporarily cleared, but remain in the Highlights tab and will reactivate if you press Alt+H again or refresh the window.
Pro Version: Alt+1, Alt+2, ..., Alt+8 to select a highlight color.
Pro Version: edit lists of users and keywords to highlight in the Highlights tab.

Filter (hide)
Ctrl-Alt-click a username to hide messages from that user
Ctrl-Alt-click a word in a message to hide messages containing that word
Alt+R to clear filters. Pro Version: filtered users and keywords are not permanently forgotten, but remain in the Filters tab and will reactivate if you press Alt+R again or refresh the window.
Pro Version: edit lists of users and keywords to filter (hide) in the Filters tab.


Unlimited Message Buffer
The Unlimited Message Buffer feature is enabled in Pro Version and prevents messages from expiring from chat. In high volume chat streams, this may eventually cause the browser to consume a lot memory. To recover memory, you can reload the Twitch page to clear the chat messages. Alternatively, you can disable Unlimited Message Buffer in the Options tab.
