About
A powerful yet simple extension that lets you remove unwanted elements from any website — automatically or manually — using various selector types. Perfect for customizing website experience, blocking specific elements, removing annoying popups, hiding distracting content, or cleaning up cluttered web pages.
ComotAm gives you full control of your browsing experience, whether it's a sticky footer, a floating button, or a persistent modal, you decide what stays.
🔧 Key Features
- Multiple Selector Types: Remove elements by ID, class, tag name, or custom CSS selectors
- Auto-Removal: Persistent element removal, i.e., automatically remove elements when pages load
- Manual Removal: Manual removal option for one-time element removal
- Domain-Specific Rules: Added rules only apply to the site in which they were added (rules are scoped to just that specific domain)
- Toggle Control: Toggle rules between automatic and manual removal
- Dynamic Content Support: Handles dynamically loaded content with MutationObserver (they are removed automatically if the website attempts to add them again)
- Instant Feedback: Real-time status messages and element removal counts
- Persistent Storage: Rules are saved locally and survive browser restarts
- Dark/Light theme: Supports dark and light modes to fit individual preference
- User-Friendly Interface: Easy-to-use interface and straightforward rule management
- No sign-ups, no tracking — works offline
