About

GL Lens: check wallet risk anywhere in seconds

GL Lens is a Chrome extension by Global Ledger that brings on-page wallet intelligence directly into your browser. It helps you review wallet risk without switching tools or copying addresses into separate platforms.

Whether you’re checking transactions on a blockchain explorer, reviewing a counterparty on an exchange website, or verifying an address on any other web platform, GL Lens displays risk information as soon as you hover over a detected address. This includes indicators such as whether the address is connected to sanctioned entities, darknet activity, known hacks, or other high-risk counterparties.

If deeper analysis is needed, you can open the full Global Ledger Risk Report with a single click. For most routine checks, however, the hover pop-up provides enough context to support quick decision-making.

Key features
- View wallet risk labels anywhere online by moving your cursor over the address.
- Instantly identify risk levels across blockchain explorers, exchanges, and any webpage displaying wallet addresses — no integrations or setup required.
- Generate a full Risk Report on the Global Ledger platform in one click.
- See associated entity labels, risk markers (e.g., OFAC/EU sanctions, reported hacks), and cross-chain presence where applicable.
- Take quick actions such as launching a trace in Vision or adding the address to your monitoring list.

How it works
After installation and sign-in with your Global Ledger account, GL Lens runs automatically in the background. There are no API keys to enter, and no configuration steps are required.

The extension recognizes crypto addresses across major networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Litecoin, Tron, and others) directly on the webpage you’re viewing. Hovering over an address triggers a small pop-up showing the risk label, risk level, and any identified ownership or entity category. Clicking the pop-up provides additional investigation options.
Privacy

Address recognition is processed locally in your browser. GL Lens does not collect personal data or store browsing history. When you request more details, only the selected address and network are sent securely to the Global Ledger API.

Requires an active Global Ledger account and internet access.
