How it works (real-time sync without drama)

Cloky treats your time entries table as the single source of truth.

On Start / Stop, the active entry is created/updated on the server.

The other UIs (app, mini-timer, extension) listen for changes and update within milliseconds.

No ping-pong: Cloky ignores its own messages when appropriate (idempotence), compares values before updating, and triggers one clean refresh per action.

One user action → one authoritative record → everyone sees the same state right away.

Typical workflows

While browsing: open the extension, click Start (your default project is preselected). Do your work. Later, click Stop — the web app and mini-timer flip to “stopped” immediately, and your entry is ready to bill.

In a meeting: start the timer in the app (e.g., “Client A – Sprint Planning”). End the meeting and stop it from the extension. Your history stays aligned everywhere.

End of day: tweak two descriptions, export the report, send the invoice. Done.
