# What NilMode does?
- Removes common time sinks on Facebook and YouTube with one-click toggles
- Optional “Course Playlists” for YouTube to track progress on learning playlists
- A pause switch for intentional breaks that auto-resumes later
- Privacy-first: no data collection, everything stays in your browser
Features

# Facebook:
- Block Facebook entirely (redirects to a focus page), or selectively hide:
News Feed
- Stories (also hides Reels)
- Right sidebar
- Sponsored posts
- Productive Mode: adds a ❌ beside author names to hide posts from specific people, pages, or groups (your personal blacklist)


# YouTube:
- Block YouTube entirely, or hide:
- Home recommendations
- Shorts
- Comments
- “Up next” sidebar
- Course Playlists (optional):
- Save any playlist as a “course” (one click)
- See total videos and total time
- Check off videos as you complete them
- Live progress bar and percentage
- Time left estimates
- Collapsible Completed section
- Quick Update/Delete buttons
-  Master toggle to hide the whole feature when you don’t need it

- Pause all blocking (choose minutes) and auto-resume when time’s up

# How it works
- Click the extension icon to open the popup with three tabs: Facebook, YouTube, Settings
- Turn on only the switches you need; refresh the site tab if needed
- For playlists, open a YouTube playlist and click “Start Course” in-page
- Track progress by checking videos off as you go


# Privacy:
- No data collection. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Settings and playlist progress are stored only in your browser (Chrome sync storage if enabled)
- Remove the extension to delete everything

# Notes
Facebook and YouTube update their layouts frequently; if something stops hiding properly, toggle it off/on or refresh the page
Works best on the latest Chrome
