Focus Mode for YouTube creates a calm, intentional pause before you start watching. It gently reduces visual noise on the homepage, gives you a moment to reset, and then gets out of your way.
No accounts. No tracking. No aggressive blocking. Just focus.

What it does
When you open the YouTube homepage:
• A soft frosted blur overlay reduces visual clutter

• A motivational quote appears briefly to help you reset

• A clean, gold-accented search bar lets you jump straight to what you want

• A minimal focus settings sidebar slides in from the right

• After a short time, everything fades away and YouTube returns to normal
The experience is designed to feel intentional, not restrictive.
