About

TaskFlow is an extension designed to help users capture tasks quickly and manage them efficiently without leaving their browser environment. TaskFlow helps you quickly capture tasks from your browser and manage everything from a powerful dashboard. You mainly interact with the extension in two places: the popup window and the dashboard page.

1. Adding Tasks from the Popup
- Click the TaskFlow extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup window.
Inside the popup you can:
1. Add a new task instantly.
2. Select a due date.
3. Choose a priority level.
4. Assign the task to a project like Work or Personal.
5. See a list of all your tasks.
6. Mark tasks as completed with one click.

This popup is designed for quick actions, so you can add tasks without leaving your current tab.

2. Opening the Dashboard
1. At the bottom of the popup, click Open Dashboard to go to the full management page.
2. The dashboard gives you more control over your tasks and lets you organize everything clearly.

3. Filtering Your Tasks
On the left side of the dashboard, you can filter tasks based on how you want to view them:
1. All – shows every task.
2. Today – tasks due today.
3. Upcoming – tasks scheduled for future dates.
4. Completed – finished tasks.
5. Incomplete – tasks still pending.
You can also switch between Work and Personal folders to focus only on specific projects.

4. Managing Tasks
From the dashboard, you can fully manage your tasks:
1. Click the Add Task button to create a new one.
2. Use the edit icon to update an existing task.
3. Use the delete icon to remove a task.
4. Toggle the checkbox to mark tasks complete or incomplete.

Any changes you make here will instantly update inside the popup as well.

5. Changing the Display Layout
1. Click the Display button in the dashboard to open the display panel.
2. From there you can switch between:
3. List View – a clean vertical layout.
4. Grid (Board) View – a card-style layout for a more visual overview.
5. Choose whichever view feels more comfortable for you.
