About

(Attention Linux Chrome users: It may be necessary for the right-click menu to be closed for the right-click double-click save image functionality to work correctly.)

The fastest way to save and organize images from the web.
Stop wrestling with the "Save Image As..." dialog. With Double Right-click Image Saver, you just double right-click any image to save it instantly with your own custom filename and into your chosen subdirectory.

What it does:
Save with a double right-click. It's that simple.

Organize automatically. Define prefixes, suffixes, and subdirectories (e.g., My-Art_2025-06-27-15-30-00_cat.jpg saved in the Images/Pets folder).

Keep things tidy. All filenames are automatically timestamped to prevent duplicates and keep them sorted.

Work smarter. The extension remembers your recent settings for quick access.

If you save images frequently, this extension will save you a massive amount of time and keep your download folder perfectly clean.

Important Note on Download Location:
Due to Chrome's security policies, extensions can only save files inside the main download folder configured in your browser settings. This extension will automatically create any subdirectories you specify within that main folder. If you wish to save images to a different primary location (e.g., your Desktop or Pictures folder), you must first change Chrome's default download location in your browser's settings.

For the extension to work seamlessly and save images instantly without popups, you need to configure two settings in Chrome:
Turn off "Ask where to save each file before downloading." You can find this in Chrome's download settings (chrome://settings/downloads). This allows for one-click (or in our case, double right-click) saving.
