AltFinder helps you discover better alternatives to popular web services – right when you need them.

Many people use online services without knowing that privacy-friendly, ethical, or regional alternatives exist. AltFinder makes these alternatives visible while you browse the web.

A new easy-to-understand guide helps you get started and explains all features step by step.

💡 Suggest new alternatives
You can now suggest or request new services directly from the options page.

🗂️ Collapsible categories in options
Service categories in the options page are now collapsible, making large lists easier to browse.

✨ Overlay usability improvements

The default cursor is now shown on hover to avoid confusion

Hovering over the overlay no longer blocks fade-out, it simply resets the timer
