System Prompt Manager for AI Studio helps you save, organize, and quickly insert reusable “System instructions” when working in Google AI Studio. Keep your favorite system prompts at your fingertips search in the popup, right‑click to insert from the context menu, or use keyboard shortcuts to move even faster.

What you can do
- Save and organize multiple system prompt “profiles”
- Search and insert from the popup
- Insert from the context menu on aistudio.google.com
- Import/Export profiles as JSON
- Choose insert mode: Replace, Append, or Prepend
- Optional confirmation before overwriting existing text
- Auto light/dark theme (with manual override)
- Customizable keyboard shortcuts (chrome://extensions/shortcuts)

How it works
- The extension only targets Google AI Studio (aistudio.google.com).
- When you choose a profile, it inserts text into the “System instructions” textarea on the page nothing is sent anywhere else.

Privacy and data usage
- No data collected. No analytics. No external network requests.
- Your profiles and settings are stored locally using Chrome storage (and can sync with your Google account if Chrome sync is enabled).

- storage: Save your profiles and settings locally
- contextMenus: Offer quick insert actions via right‑click
- activeTab + scripting: Insert the selected profile into the AI Studio page when requested
