About

Lore — AI Context Sync connects your AI chat sessions with Lore (loresync.dev), a free tool that turns conversation histories into structured project context like handoffs, worklogs, and TODOs.

  The extension does two things:

  ■ Capture conversations
Click the extension icon on Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to extract your full conversation and send it to Lore for analysis. Lore breaks it down into structured snapshots — decisions made, tasks identified, current status, and next steps. No copy-pasting, no manual
  summaries.

  ■ Inject context back into AI (new in v0.2.0)
When you open Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, the extension checks if Lore has project context available. If it does, a small banner appears at the top of the page showing the project name and when it was last updated. Click "Load Context" and your full project context
gets inserted into the AI's input field. Your new session starts with everything the AI needs to know — what was decided, what's in progress, what's next.

This means you can close a conversation, come back days later, open a fresh chat, and pick up exactly where you left off. No re-explaining your project. No lost context between sessions.

  How it works:
  1. Install this extension
  2. Open loresync.dev and paste or upload an AI conversation
  3. Generate a snapshot — this creates your structured project context
  4. Open Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini — the context banner appears automatically
  5. Click "Load Context" to start your session with full project awareness

  Supported sites:
  • Claude (claude.ai)
  • ChatGPT (chatgpt.com)
  • Gemini (gemini.google.com)

  Features:
  • Auto-detection: banner appears when context is available
  • Site-specific formatting (XML for Claude, Markdown for ChatGPT/Gemini)
  • Project-aware: shows which project's context with last updated time
  • Badge shows number of available contexts
  • Popup with project list for manual injection

  Privacy:
No data leaves your browser. The extension reads from and writes to localStorage to communicate with the Lore PWA. There is no backend, no analytics, no tracking. Your conversations and project data stay entirely local.
