About
Auto Next Page Reader extracts the main article content from any page and reads it aloud using your browser’s built‑in Text‑to‑Speech. When a page finishes, it can automatically open the next page/chapter so you can keep listening hands‑free. What it does Reads the main content aloud (no copy/paste required) Auto‑Next: navigates to the next page/chapter automatically Text cleanup: removes ads, links, and boilerplate Multi‑language: auto‑detects page language and picks a matching voice when available Easy controls: Start, Stop, Skip Forward; toggle Auto Read/Auto Next Keyboard: Ctrl + ` to pause/resume while a page is being read How it works Uses Readability to extract the article text from the current page Hands the text to the browser’s speech engine (works offline) Looks for “Next” via several methods: next button, common chapter URL patterns, rel="next", and next‑link text Permissions and privacy activeTab, scripting: inject reading logic into the current page when you use the extension storage: remember your settings (Auto Read/Next, rate, pitch, language) No analytics or tracking; no data leaves your device. All processing happens locally. See privacy policy for details. Tips If Auto‑Next doesn’t trigger, try sites with clear “Next Chapter” or rel="next" links, or pages whose URLs include chapter numbers Adjust rate and pitch to your preference in the popup Works well with long‑form articles and web novels Support If this extension helps you, consider supporting: https://buymeacoffee.com/sasmalgiric
