About
A UX validation extension built with Plasmo helps web developers and designers identify and resolve UX issues directly within their websites. It scans the current page for problems like interface inconsistency, accessibility violations, duplicate IDs, and other common UX pitfalls, then overlays a lightweight in-page UI to highlight issues in real time so they can be fixed before going live. With the new VS Code bridge, you can go beyond detection and actually fix issues at the source. When working on a locally running project (currently supported for Vite + React setups), the browser extension can connect to a companion VS Code extension. This allows you to jump from an issue highlighted in the browser directly to the relevant component or file in your editor, streamlining the workflow from UX problem to code-level fix. To use this integration, simply install the VS Code extension alongside the browser extension and run your project locally.
