PRIVACY & DATA CONTROL:
🔒 Metadata-only extraction: The extension only accesses chat titles and URLs to build your library; it does not read, store, or transmit the internal content of your AI conversations.

🏠 Local-only storage: Maktaba operates entirely within your browser environment. All metadata is managed via chrome.storage.sync, ensuring your chat organization remains private, stays off external servers, and stays accessible only to you across your logged-in devices.

⚙️ Library maintenance: A dedicated dashboard allows you to monitor storage health and perform automated archiving or pruning of unlinked metadata to keep your system lean.
