About

Snap any UI element. Instantly copy context for your coding assistant.

Snaplensy is the bridge between your browser and AI. Hover over any element, click to select, and copy everything you need — selectors, component paths, props, styles, and attributes — in one click.

What's new in v1.1.0
- Quick Copy mode — click any element to instantly copy a structured prompt without opening the inspector panel (Pro)
- Auto-close after copy — the inspector closes automatically after copying (Pro)
- Pro settings section in popup with toggles for both new features

How it works
1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd+Shift+Z on Mac) or your custom shortcut to activate
2. Hover over any element — see its type, dimensions, and color-coded highlights
3. Click to select — a floating panel shows full element details
4. Double-click any style value to edit it live on the page
5. Copy what you need — CSS selector, test locator, or a structured prompt

Free features
- Inspect any element on any website
- Live CSS editing with instant preview
- Color picker for quick color adjustments
- Custom keyboard shortcut mapping
- Color-coded highlights by element type
- Unique CSS selector generation
- DOM ancestor tree — up to 12 levels with hover-to-highlight
- Computed styles: colors, typography, dimensions, layout
- HTML attributes overview
- Copy any value with one click

Pro features
- Quick Copy mode — one click to copy a structured prompt without opening the panel
- Auto-close after copy
- Component path, props, and state inspection
- Test locator generation for popular testing frameworks
- Structured prompt — copy a complete element description formatted for coding assistants
- Keyboard arrow navigation through the DOM tree
- Element state badges (disabled, checked, required, and more)
- Sibling context and children summary
- Copy computed styles as a CSS block

Compatible with any web framework — analyzes the live DOM and detects component trees automatically.

Privacy first
Runs entirely in your browser. Only analyzes the DOM when you activate it. No data is sent to any server.

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Z / Cmd+Shift+Z (or your custom shortcut)
