About

Azure App Testing lets developers and QA teams run large-scale functional and performance tests to identify issues in their applications. Azure App Testing allows you to run performance tests using Azure Load Testing. Azure Load Testing is a fully managed service that enables teams to generate high-scale load, simulate real-world traffic, and evaluate the performance, scalability, and reliability of their applications.
This is a browser extension that simplifies the creation of high-quality JMeter scripts for performance testing on Azure Load Testing. It allows users to record real application workflows directly from the browser and convert those recordings into production-ready test scripts using Azure Load Testing’s AI capabilities.
The extension captures HTTP(s) traffic and user interactions as users navigate their applications. This helps teams quickly create accurate representations of real user journeys without manually authoring scripts.

Key Capabilities:
- Capture browser user flows with a single recording
- Add scenarios to group different user flows
- Filter domains and requests to capture only meaningful requests
- Create a test to upload recording to Azure Load Testing

AI-Enhanced Script Generation:
Once a scenario is recorded, it is uploaded to Azure Load Testing, where AI analyzes the recording and generates a structured JMeter script. The AI engine assists by:

- Identifying and applying correlations for dynamic values
- Detecting parameterization opportunities
- Adding meaningful labels for readability
- Applying realistic think times based on recorded behavior

A JMeter script is created and can be run on Azure Load Testing at desired scale.
