Changelog
- Apr 17, 2026description
Tired of clicking through endless SFMC menus just to find a Data Extension, check a subscriber, or figure out why an automation failed? MC Lens adds powerful tools directly inside your Marketing Cloud interface — no API credentials, no setup, no developer skills required. It works with your existing SFMC session so you can get to work immediately. Features: - Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+K) — Fuzzy search across DEs, Journeys, Automations, and Lists. Pin bookmarks, copy keys/IDs, view DE field schemas inline, check row counts, and see folder paths without leaving the page. - Subscriber Lookup (Ctrl+Shift+L) — Full subscriber profile by email or key. List memberships, recent sends, bounces (Hard/Soft/Block), clicks, and activity timeline in one view. - Cross-BU Subscriber Search — Find a subscriber across all your business units in one click. See per-BU status, creation date, and which BUs they exist in. - Error Log (Ctrl+Shift+E) — Bounces, delivery failures, job failures, triggered send errors, and import errors in one dashboard with summary cards and filter tabs. - Send Performance — Sortable send metrics with color-coded thresholds, per-link click drill-down, triggered sends tab, and CSV export. - Automation Health Monitor — Status overview with run history drill-down and desktop notifications when automations enter error state. - Engagement Hub — Unsubscribes, complaints, forwards, and forward opt-ins with date range filters and trend spotting. - Admin Dashboard — Account governance: business units, users, roles, sender profiles, and triggered send definitions with sortable, expandable tables. - DE Inspector — Contextual side panel in Contact Builder showing data freshness, query dependencies, automation references, and journey entry sources for any DE. - Dependency Mapper — Impact analysis: see which queries, automations, and journeys reference a Data Extension before you modify or delete it. For a detailed walkthrough of every feature with screenshots, read the full guide: https://medium.com/@thrishulpola999/how-to-supercharge-your-sfmc-workflow-with-mc-lens-2b884c9b67a4 What's new in v1.1: - Cross-BU Subscriber Search with accurate per-BU status detection - Admin Dashboard for account governance - DE Inspector side panel in Contact Builder - Triggered Sends tab in Send Performance - Faster cross-BU search performance - BU switching stability fixes Why MC Lens? Built for the people who live inside Marketing Cloud every day — admins, developers, email marketers, and campaign managers who need answers fast.
