Subreddit filtering (Approved / Neutral / Blocked) applies on /r/all and /r/popular. Word filters and user blocking work everywhere on old.reddit.com.

SUBREDDIT LISTS
 
✓ Approved — Subreddits you always want to see. Posts from these are never hidden. Disable the list entirely to hide your curated subs and rediscover fresh content on /r/all.
 
– Neutral — A second tier of subreddits you're fine seeing but don't prioritize. Behaves like Approved when enabled.
 
× Blocked — Subreddits you never want to see. Posts are hidden on /r/all and /r/popular. Has no effect on Approved or Neutral posts unless a word filter is marked Explicit.

WORD FILTERS
 
Exact Word — Hides posts whose title contains the exact word as a whole word. Case-insensitive. "game" matches "game" but not "games" or "gameplay".
 
Aggressive — Hides posts whose title contains the text anywhere. "game" matches "game", "games", "gameplay", "videogame", etc.
 
By default, word filters do not apply to Approved or Neutral subreddits — those are trusted. To override this, mark a filter as Explicit.
 
Explicit Word Blocking — Click any word filter entry to toggle it Explicit (highlighted in orange). Explicit filters block posts regardless of which subreddit they come from, including Approved and Neutral.

ISOLATION MODE
 
Each list has an ISO button. Click it to isolate that list — only matching posts are shown, everything else is hidden. Combine multiple ISO buttons at once. Isolating a word filter highlights matching words in post titles. Click ISO again to exit.

INLINE BUTTONS
 
On /r/all and /r/popular, each post shows ✓ – × buttons next to the subreddit name. Click to instantly add to Approved, Neutral, or Blocked without opening the overlay.

USER BLOCKING
 
Press and hold any username link for 2 seconds to block that Reddit user. A progress bar fills as you hold. When complete, the user is blocked via Reddit's API and their posts are immediately hidden. Requires being logged in. The block persists on your Reddit account permanently.

MINI MENU
 
A compact floating panel for quick access without opening the full overlay. Includes master on/off toggle, per-list enable/disable switches, ISO buttons, scrollable entry rows, and drag-to-move entries between lists. Drag the header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Configurable row count per list. Can be hidden from Settings.

CROSS-DEVICE SYNC
 
Every change — add, remove, clear, import — is automatically pushed to Chrome's built-in sync storage. Any device signed into the same Chrome account with this extension installed receives the update and applies it live in the background, no page reload needed.
 
- Full timestamp-based conflict resolution (CRDT last-write-wins) — changes from different devices always merge correctly
- Deleted entries leave a tombstone for 180 days so a delete on one device wins over a stale add from another
- Fresh installs automatically pull and apply your existing data without overwriting anything
- Auto-sync can be disabled in Settings to manage lists independently per device
 
Requires Chrome signed into a Google account with sync enabled.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
 
Drag and Drop — Move entries between compatible lists in the overlay and mini menu. Subreddits move between Approved / Neutral / Blocked. Word filters move between Exact and Aggressive.
 
Sorting — Sort lists alphabetically (A→Z or Z→A) or chronologically (newest or oldest first).
 
Endless Scrolling — Automatically loads the next page as you scroll. Newly loaded posts are filtered and wired for inline buttons and user blocking automatically.
 
Import / Export — Export all lists to a JSON file for backup. Import a JSON file with the option to merge (combine) or overwrite. Imported entries sync to other devices automatically.
