    description
Twitter Filter lets you hide or flag tweets on your timeline using custom rules.

You write conditions based on tweet content or account properties -- things like follower count, account age, whether a tweet contains links, or if the username matches a pattern. Matched tweets can be hidden entirely or visually dimmed with a label showing which rule triggered.

The rule language supports comparisons, string matching, regex, and basic logic operators. A few preset rules for common cases (crypto spam, suspicious accounts) are included and can be toggled on or off.

    Other features:

    - Import CSV lists (e.g. from Twitter Exporter) and reference them in rules with in_list()
    - Export and import rules as JSON to share with others
    - A stats page showing how many tweets were scanned, marked, or hidden, broken down by rule
    - Global toggle to enable or disable all filtering
    - Default action setting (mark or hide) that individual rules can inherit or override

The extension runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent anywhere.
Twitter Filter lets you clean up your Twitter/X timeline using custom rules.

Write conditions based on tweet content or account properties — follower count, account age, bio keywords, username patterns, verification status, and more. Matched tweets can be marked with a yellow border, hidden entirely, or trigger an automatic block (with delay and undo).

The rule language supports comparisons, string matching, regex, and logical operators.

Subscribe to rules: Browse and subscribe to rules published by other users. Subscribed rules sync automatically, so you always have the latest version without manual updates.

Create and share your own: Write custom rules with the expression language, then publish them for others to subscribe to.

    Other features:

    - Import screen name lists from CSV or paste directly — each rule supports up to 100,000 names
    - Export and import rules as JSON
    - Stats showing how many tweets were scanned, marked, hidden, or blocked
    - Your own tweets and tweets from accounts you follow are always skipped

Tweet filtering runs entirely in your browser. Rule sharing is optional and only syncs rule metadata — your timeline data never leaves your device.
