ShortsBlocker hides only YouTube Shorts. Everything else stays.

• Removes Shorts from Home, Search, and the sidebar
• Redirects any /shorts/VIDEO to the regular /watch?v=VIDEO page
• Popup toggle: quickly enable/disable
• Temporary allow: let Shorts through for 10 minutes
• Channel allowlist: keep Shorts from creators you choose

What it DOESN’T do
• Doesn’t block long-form videos, comments, subscriptions, or recommendations
• Doesn’t replace the YouTube UI or force search-first navigation

Why these permissions
• “Storage”: save your enable/disable state, allowlist, and temporary-allow timer
• Site access to youtube.com only: to hide Shorts elements and handle redirects

Privacy
• No data collection, no analytics, no remote requests. All settings stay in your browser.

Tips
• Add a creator’s @handle or channel URL in the popup to allow their Shorts
• Use the 10-minute allow when you want a brief break, then it auto-locks
