The term LGBT is more than just an acronym; it represents a diverse community of individuals whose sexual orientations and gender identities differ from traditional or mainstream norms. Originally standing for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender, it has evolved into an umbrella concept that not only embraces these four identities but also, in many instances, expands to include queer, intersex, asexual, and other non-cisgender or non-heteronormative identities 

Diversity is a vast and multifaceted concept that lies at the heart of thriving communities, dynamic workplaces, and innovative ideas. At its core, diversity refers to the presence of a wide range of differences—be these differences based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, cultural background, abilities, perspectives, or life experiences. In essence, it’s about blending many different ingredients to create a richer, more robust whole.
