Steps To Use And Set Up Gmail Access:
1. Click the JAEL icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Click "Connect to Gmail/ Authenticate/Reauthenticate" 
3. Sign in to your Google account when prompted
4. Grant permission for JAEL to access your Gmail labels and modify emails
5. You'll see a "Connected/Reauthenticate" status once setup is complete


Manual Processing
JAEL offers two processing options:

Scan Latest (Quick)
1. Click the JAEL icon while in Gmail
2. Click "Scan Latest" to process your 50 most recent emails
3. Takes about 30 seconds to complete
4. Perfect for daily email checks

Fetch Historical (Comprehensive)
1. Click "Fetch Historical" to process your last 500 emails
2. Takes approximately 2 minutes to complete
3. Ideal for initial setup or catching up after time away
4. Great for organizing your entire job search email history


Labels Not Appearing
1. Refresh your Gmail page
2. Check if labels were created in Gmail's label list (left sidebar)
3. Try processing emails manually from the JAEL popup

Extension Not Working
1. Make sure you're on gmail.com (not other email providers)
2. Refresh the Gmail page
3. Check that the extension is enabled in `chrome://extensions/`
4. Try reloading the extension
