Language Switcher: Seamless Keyboard Layout Conversion

Tired of accidentally typing in the wrong language and having to retype everything? Language Switcher solves this by letting you instantly convert any selected text between your custom keyboard layouts.

It is the essential tool for multilingual users who frequently switch between different keyboard maps.

Usage:

1. Setup: On installation, the extension automatically detects your preferred languages. You can customize these mappings on the Options Page.

2. Select: Highlight the text you want to convert (Tip: use Ctrl+A to select all).

3. Switch: Press the hotkey (Ctrl+Space by default) to instantly convert the selection in place.

Key Features:

* Smart Cycle Logic: Define a cycle of two or more languages (e.g., English → Spanish → Russian). The extension intelligently detects the source language of your text and converts it to the next defined language in your sequence.

* Smart Auto-Configuration: Upon installation, the extension detects your browser's language settings and automatically sets up your initial language cycle.

* Error-Free Conversion: If a language in your cycle lacks a mapping for a specific character (like a unique symbol), the extension skips it and finds the next valid layout, ensuring your text is never broken.

* Universal Symbol Preservation: punctuation and universal symbols that don't appear in the language settings (e.g., $) are preserved during conversion.

* Works Almost Everywhere: Designed to function reliably inside chat boxes, comment fields, and complex web apps, including Telegram Web, ChatGPT, Gemini, Google Search, and more.

Note: Due to browser security restrictions, this does not work inside the browser address bar, on the default 'New Tab' page, or on system settings pages.

* Fully Customizable: Add, remove, or edit mappings for any language via the Options page.

* Customizable Shortcut: Prefer a different key? You can easily change the default Ctrl+Space shortcut in your browser's extension settings.
