  💻 Installation & Usage Instructions

  Installation:
  1. Click the "Add to Chrome" button above
  2. When prompted, click "Add extension"
  3. The Text Insights Counter icon will appear in your browser toolbar

  Basic Usage:
  1. Click the Text Insights icon in your toolbar to open the popup
  2. Paste or type text in the text area
  3. View real-time counts for characters, words, sentences, paragraphs, and whitespace
  4. Toggle between light and dark themes using the switch in the top-right

  Using the Context Menu:
  1. Select any text on any webpage
  2. Right-click on the selected text
  3. Choose "Count selected text" from the context menu
  4. The extension popup will open with statistics for the selected text

  Using Pro Features:
  1. Toggle the "PRO" switch in the extension to enable advanced features
  2. Explore reading time estimates, readability scores, character distribution, and more
  3. Save text snapshots to compare changes over time
  4. Filter text or extract plain text from HTML when needed

  Tips:
  • Use the Copy Stats button to copy all metrics to your clipboard
  • Clear button removes all text and resets counters
  • Pro features are completely free - no signup or payment required!
