Perched on a rough-textured railing against a soft, green background, this bird is a female Eurasian Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula). Unlike the striking rosy-pink chest of the male, the female exhibits a more subtle yet equally beautiful plumage. Her underparts are a delicate, pale brownish-grey to muted salmon, which complements the clean grey mantle on her back. Like the male, she possesses the prominent, velvety black cap and face, which frames her dark eye.
