  See your Claude usage at a glance — right in the toolbar.
  
  Claude Usage Badge adds a small badge to your browser toolbar showing your current session usage percentage. Click it to see a detailed breakdown:
  
  • Session (5-hour) usage bar with reset countdown
  • Weekly (7-day) usage bar with reset countdown
  • Extra usage status: ON/OFF, IN USE indicator, approximate spend, limit, and remaining balance
  • Subscription tier display (Free, Pro, Team, Max)
  
  How it works:
  The extension reads Claude's own usage API (the same data Claude's frontend uses) to show your real utilization numbers. A lightweight content script detects when you send messages and triggers a refresh. Usage also refreshes automatically every 3 minutes.
  
  No data leaves your browser. No third-party servers. No analytics. No tracking.
  
  Permissions explained:
  • Storage: persists your usage state between browser restarts
  • Cookies: reads your Claude org ID to call the usage API
  • Alarms: periodic background refresh every 3 minutes
  • Host permission (claude.ai): required to read usage data from Claude's API
