Side Reader is a Chrome extension that allows you to read and chat effortlessly with any PDF on the ChatGPT, Claude and DeepSeek website.

You can read a PDF while chatting with them. After selecting words in the PDF, a button list will pop up. You can translate or explain the selected words by clicking the buttons without the need for frequent pasting and copying.

You can regard Side Reader as an alternative for PDF.ai and ChatPDF.
