About

Many websites display the same URL in the address bar regardless of which page you are on — hiding sub-page slugs, internal routes, and the real page hierarchy. Real Address Revealer reads every available signal embedded in the page source to reveal what the address bar is hiding.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Click the extension icon on any website
2. The extension reads signals already present in the page — meta tags, structured data, framework state, and frame hierarchy
3. Results appear in the popup highlighting any mismatch between the address bar and the real page address
4. An orange banner alerts you when masking is detected; green confirms a clean match
5. Copy the full findings to clipboard with one click

WHAT IT DETECTS

Canonical URL — The rel="canonical" tag almost always contains the real page slug, even when the address bar shows only the homepage.

Open Graph URL — The og:url and twitter:url meta tags frequently expose the true page address used for sharing and SEO.

Framework Routes — Reads Next.js __NEXT_DATA__, Nuxt __NUXT__, Vue Router, and React Router history state to extract the actual internal route for single-page applications.

Iframe / URL Cloaking — Detects when a page is loaded inside a cross-origin iframe (common with GoDaddy domain forwarding, link cloakers, and white-label platforms) and reveals the real content URL being masked.

Breadcrumb Trail — Extracts JSON-LD BreadcrumbList and HTML breadcrumb navigation to show the full page path hierarchy.

Structured Data URLs — Reads JSON-LD schema markup which often contains the canonical URL, article URL, or product URL.

Internal Link Slugs — Scans navigation links to reveal the slug structure of the site — showing what sub-pages exist even if none are visible in the address bar.

Meta Refresh Redirects — Detects and shows destination URLs hidden behind meta refresh tags.
