GeminiFade removes Gemini AI clutter from your Google Workspace apps so you can focus on what matters — your work.

Tired of sparkle icons, "Help me write" prompts, companion side panels, and promotional banners taking up space in Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive, and Slides? GeminiFade hides them all, instantly and automatically.

HOW IT WORKS

GeminiFade uses two strategies working together:

- CSS Injection targets known Gemini elements via stable aria-label and data-attribute selectors, hiding them before they even render
- A MutationObserver watches for dynamically injected Gemini elements and hides them in real time as Google loads them

No data leaves your browser. No accounts. No tracking. Just a cleaner Workspace.

PRIVACY

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

- storage: Saves your on/off preference and feature toggle states locally
- activeTab: Communicates with the content script on the current Google Workspace tab
