  ClipAction is a keyboard-first command palette for AI on any text you select. Highlight a passage on any page, press Ctrl+Shift+Space, and instantly rewrite, summarize, fix grammar, translate, explain, expand, shorten, or pull key points, without leaving the page.
  
  HOW IT WORKS
  Highlight a passage on any webpage,
  Press Ctrl+Shift+Space (Cmd+Shift+Space on Mac),
  Choose your action - rewrite, shorten, reply to emails, make custom tweets etc,
  Copy or replace with the the result.
  
  PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
  The default mode uses Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano model, which runs entirely on your device. Your input never leaves your machine. The green "On-device" badge confirms local processing. 
  No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
  
  BRING YOUR OWN PROVIDER (Pro)
  Want more power? Connect your own API key from a major AI service, or run models locally through Ollama.

  clipboardRead - to read your clipboard on read-only surfaces (PDFs, Google Docs)
  clipboardWrite - to write the result back to your clipboard for paste
  declarativeNetRequest - for local Ollama connections only
  
  DATA HANDLING
  No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
  Default on-device mode: your writing never leaves your machine.
  Pro accounts: we store your email and an anonymous device ID in Supabase, and use Stripe to process payments. 
  When you opt into a cloud AI service, your actions are sent to that service using your own API key. All of this is disclosed in-product on first run.
