Changelog
- Apr 21, 2026description
Network Diagnostics Dashboard is a lightweight, privacy-friendly Chrome extension that helps developers, QA engineers, and power users troubleshoot web performance and connectivity problems fast. Key capabilities: One-click collection of actionable performance metrics from the active tab: First Paint / FCP, TTFB, DNS/TCP/TLS timing, DOMContentLoaded and full load duration. Resource overview: total resource count, total bytes transferred and the largest resources; drill down to a full resource timing table when needed. Connection diagnostics: navigator.connection details (effectiveType, RTT, downlink, Save-Data) and public/server IP lookups. Quick diagnostics tool: measure fetch latency and status for any URL with simple remediation tips. Compact, readable UI focused on fast triage — shows key metrics and clear suggestions before you dig into full traces. Built with Manifest V3 using the Performance API and Chrome scripting APIs — no background logging of page content. ** New version 2.3.0 -> API call analysis and performance score also added as part of upgrade
