Conversation Cleaner for ChatGPT adds a practical control layer for managing busy ChatGPT sidebars. Turn on cleanup mode to select multiple conversations without accidental navigation, then archive or delete selected chats with a clear confirmation step.

The extension is built for safer cleanup: it keeps checkbox targets separate from ChatGPT rows, protects pinned conversations, avoids fixed-coordinate clicking, and stores settings locally in your browser. It also includes an optional speed mode for long conversations, showing recent messages first and revealing older messages in place when requested.

Conversation Cleaner is open source, local-first, and does not send your conversation data to any third-party server. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with OpenAI.
