About
PagePulse is a professional browser extension for accurate and visual measurement of web page loading performance. Designed for QA engineers, frontend and backend developers, and performance specialists, PagePulse continuously monitors page load metrics in the background — no manual actions required. Key features: • Automatic performance measurement on every page load • Real-time load time displayed directly on the extension icon • Accurate metrics based on the Web Performance API • Clean, modern, developer-friendly UI • Page load history and comparisons Measured metrics: • Total Page Load Time • Time To First Byte (TTFB) • DOMContentLoaded • Load Event End • First Paint (FP) • First Contentful Paint (FCP) • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) (when available) The extension icon updates automatically after each page load and shows: • Green — fast (< 1s) • Yellow — acceptable (1–3s) • Red — slow (> 3s) Popup interface includes: • Summary cards with key metrics • Interactive loading timeline (DNS, TCP, SSL, TTFB, DOM, Load) • Performance metrics visualization • Comparison with previous loads All data is stored locally. PagePulse makes no external network requests and has minimal impact on page performance. PagePulse is not just a timer — it’s a visual performance monitoring tool that helps you instantly understand whether a page is fast or slow, and why. Feel your page performance.
