PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED

Tech Stack Detector uses the activeTab permission — meaning it only sees the current tab when you click the toolbar icon. It does not run in the background. It does not watch every page you visit. It does not request the broad "access all sites" permission that ad-blockers and password managers need. The full permission rationale is published alongside the extension.

NO PAID TIER 

There is no "Pro" version. There are no upgrade prompts. You will not be asked for your email, asked to share, or asked to rate the extension after every scan. Install it, use it, done.
