About

It's an open-source extension that lets you right-click any image on a webpage and save it in the format you need. It adds a simple "Save as PNG/JPG/etc." option to your context menu. It is 100% local, contains zero tracking, zero analytics, and uses no external servers.
Note: The "access to all sites" permission is required to access images hosted outside of the webpage you are on.

◼ Supported Formats
- PNG, JPG, WebP: Uses native browser conversion.
- GIF: Converts animated WebP and APNG files into standard animated GIFs.
- BMP: Creates 32-bit BMP files with transparency support.
Note: Other types are intentionally excluded so that the extension size remains extremely lightweight (roughly 220 KB).

◼ Customization Options
You can configure the extension behavior via the options page:
- Select which formats appear in your right-click menu.
- Enable instant downloading to skip the native "Save As" dialog.
- Set a default text prefix for saved filenames.
- Route your downloads into a specific subfolder.
- Set a maximum character limit for filenames.
- Set a memory limit for GIF conversions to prevent browser crashes on large animated images.

◼ Privacy and Permissions
This extension operates entirely within your browser.
It requires the "Read and change all your data on all websites" permission. This is strictly necessary to bypass CORS restrictions. Without this permission, the extension cannot read pixel data from images hosted on cross-origin content delivery networks. The extension only fetches image data when you explicitly use the right-click menu. Your browsing data and the images you save never leave your device.
