HOW IT WORKS
Verity runs 10 signals on every sender and combines them into a single trust score shown as a color-coded badge directly on your inbox rows.

WHAT IT CHECKS
- Name/Domain Mismatch: detects when "PayPal Support" is sending from paypal-help123.com
- Domain Age: new domains under 6 months are flagged automatically
- AI Writing Analysis: scans subject lines and email body for urgency tactics, fear language, and phishing phrases
- Email Authentication: checks SPF, DKIM, and DMARC headers
- Suspicious Links: detects anchor text mismatches, raw IP links, and URL shorteners
- Google Safe Browsing: checks every link against Google's live phishing and malware database
- Spamhaus and SURBL: queries real threat intelligence feeds used by major email providers
- Sender History: flags first contact from banks, payment services, and known brands
- Community Reports: domains flagged by other Verity users get penalized automatically

SCORE TIERS
- 75 to 100: Trusted (green)
- 45 to 74: Caution (yellow)
- 0 to 44: Suspicious (red)

PRIVACY
All sender history is stored locally on your device and never uploaded anywhere. Domain lookups query only public registries. No personal email content is ever stored or transmitted.
