VidraNote turns YouTube into a focused study workspace.

It helps you watch videos with fewer distractions, take study notes, save transcript records, and stay focused with simple local tools built directly for YouTube.

With VidraNote, you can use Distraction Shield to hide or blur distracting videos, create Focus Topics and Focus Categories, manage Blur Categories, and control how unrelated videos appear on YouTube home, search, and watch pages.

The extension also includes Study Notes, so you can write notes while watching videos, add timestamps, highlight text, use basic formatting, and track word and character counts. Transcript tools let you capture and save YouTube captions when available, making it easier to review study material later.

For stronger focus sessions, VidraNote includes Focus Lock, which helps prevent quick changes to selected settings while you study.

VidraNote is local-first. Notes, transcripts, categories, settings, hidden channels, and focus data are stored in your browser using Chrome extension storage and IndexedDB. VidraNote does not require an account, backend server, analytics service or cloud sync.
