Type a colon followed by a name — :fire, :heart, :tada — and a popup appears with matching emojis. Hit Enter to insert. That's it.

Exact matches win. Prefix matches come next. Keyword matches catch the rest. Shorter names win ties — so :joy gives you 😂, not a more obscure result.
