No Duplicate Tabs Guardian keeps your browser tidy by detecting when you open a page that is already open in another tab. Instead of leaving another copy behind, it switches you to the existing tab and removes the duplicate tab.

Features:

Privacy and permissions:

Chrome may show a "Read your browsing history" warning because the extension uses the tabs permission to read the URLs of open tabs. The extension does not request the history permission and does not use chrome.history. URLs are compared locally in Chrome and are not sent to a server.
